What's new

A running log of what shipped in FocusCall — no fluff, just what changed.

August 2026

Verification code arrives by text, not a call

The phone-verification code now comes as an SMS instead of a voice call. Some phones were silently rejecting the old verification call as spam — a text gets through.

A test call before you rely on us

New step during setup: FocusCall calls your own number once, so you know the call actually arrives before you plan your first reminder around it.

Calendar sync moved to the end of setup

Connecting your calendar is now offered as the last step of onboarding instead of something you had to go find in Settings later.

Weekly repeat lives with your other reminders

Repeat scheduling now sits in the same screen as the rest of a reminder's timing, not tucked away in a separate settings panel.

July 2026

Siri and a Home Screen widget

Add a reminder from the lock screen or by asking Siri — no need to open the app first.

The app interface is now in 7 languages

English, Russian, German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Serbian for the app itself. Calls are currently spoken in the first six of those.

Your calendar, without a Google login

FocusCall can now read your phone's own calendar directly and call you at event time — no account to connect, nothing to authorize.

Swipe to delete, and a list that actually refreshes

The reminders list got a pass: swipe left to delete, a proper edit mode, and a pull-to-refresh that was quietly broken.
